Hieroglyphic Being and Lee Gamble to play The Shacklewell Arms

Promoters Xenoglossy are toasting their first birthday with an appearance from a very special guest.

On October 12, Dalston’s The Shacklewell Arms will welcome Jamal Moss, aka Hieroglyphic Being. The Mathematics Records boss has been one of analogue house/techno’s most inventive practitioners for the best part of 15 years. His music is often tough and deep, but there’s invariably a devotional quality and sense of grace amidst the hiss – his performance is likely to be something of a must-see. He’ll be joined by PAN’s Lee Gamble, no doubt touting his jungliest cassette “diversions”, stitched together from classic jungle compilations. Xenoglossy and Richard D. Clouston will round out the bill.

The night runs from 9.00pm until 3.00am. Tickets, priced at £8, are available here.
