Vessel, according to our recent interview with the Bristol producer, makes music designed for “somewhere dark and loud”.

The Young Echo member certainly hit the bill with juddering ‘Court Of Lions’. ‘Stillborn Dub’ – the latest leak from Order Of Noise, his forthcoming LP for Tri Angle – nails the rubric even more effectively. ‘Stillborn Dub’ is about as caliginous as Vessel’s ever sounded: practically beatless, it’s a murky blend of dolorous chants and dub chamber rimshots, all underpinned by a tumescent, throbbing bassline.
