George Fitzgerald’s Child EP is about to get a baby brother.

The Hotflush-affiliated producer’s most recent EP was an interesting exercise in productive tension: the beats were decidedly jacking, but Fitzgerald’s analgesic synth washes and eerie hooks kept things sufficiently dreamy (a balance exemplified on highlight ‘Lights Out’)

As XLR8R report, Aus Music are planning an EP of fresh takes on material from the record. Child Remixes EP will feature a new take on ‘Lights Out’ from rising talent Gerry Read, who’s been turning out exceptional scuffed house for the likes of Fourth Wave and Delsin. Dutch house maestro Gerd, meanwhile, contributes two remixes, under both his Geeeman and his NY Stomp aliases.

The Child EP is available to stream below. Alternatively, check out Fitzgerald going deep on Carl Craig’s classic remix of Maurizio’s ‘Domina’. Child Remixes is due on October 15 on 12″.
