Mykki Blanco is the crossdressed altar ego of art school dropout and teenage runaway Michael Quattlebaum Jr. His songs and videos have typically been eye-popping, gender-fluid affairs, from the snuff-aesthetic of ‘Join My Militia’ to the sex club haze of ‘Wavvy’.

This fall, Mykki Blanco’s debut Cosmic Angel: The Illuminati Prince/ss will be released by UNO NYC. The album is said to feature a who’s-who of the US underground, including Nguzunguzu, 5kin and Bone5, Flosstradamus, Brenmar, Physical Therapy, and Leif. Lead single ‘Haze. Boogie. Life.’ is expected later this month.
