Hear an outtake from Actress's Yayoi Kusama-inspired piece for the Tate Modern

Earlier this year, R.I.P. producer Actress performed live at London’s Tate Modern.

His piece was part of an exhibition dedicated to the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, encouraging the artists – Koreless and Lapalux also participated – to help visitors explore their own “Kusama infinite environment.”

The website of Werk Discs, the label Actress founded and now co-runs in partnership with Ninja Tune, has today uploaded an outtake of Actress’s twinkling contribution to the event – it builds steadily over a course of 10 minutes, and you can stream it below.

It’s not Actress’s only work for one of the Tates, either: this September, the South London based artist contributed to a night of Alternative Perceptions, with Matthew Herbert and more on board.
