Laurel Halo announces audio-visual tour of Europe, new single 'Sunlight on the Faded'

Laurel Halo will return to Europe this October to showcase her new live audio-visual show.

The Michigan-raised artist, who signed to Hyperdub for the release of her latest album, the exposed Quarantine, has collaborated with Planet Mu artist Konx-om-pax – the man behind Kuedo’s recent video and more – for the visual side of the show. The press release quotes Konx-om-pax, a.k.a. Tom Scholefield, as saying “I wanted to create other worldly environments filled with gravitydefying plasma sculptures, beams of light shining through misty organic mutant plant life. Alongside floating metallic space station very much inspired by Moebius and Ron Cobb”. Intriguingly, the tour closes with an intimate show at Plastic People.

Halo’s next single will be released through Hyperdub, titled ‘Sunlight on the Faded’.
