Producer-rapper Hit-Boy signs to the same management company as Lil Wayne, Drake

The 25-year-old Californian behind the ‘Niggas in Paris’ beat takes the next step in his rap career.

Alongside the Watch the Throne standout, Hit-Boy also produced A$AP Rocky’s ‘Goldie’ and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Come on a Cone.’ The in-demand beatsmith has also been enlisted to work on Beyonce’s next album.

In August, Hit-Boy (aka Chauncey Hollis) released his debut mixtape, HITstory, an effort that found him both producing and rapping. According to AllHipHop, the hip-hop artist has signed to The Blueprint Group, a management firm that counts Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj on its roster.

“I believe in the precedence they have set in this industry and know they can and will take my career to the next level,” Hit-Boy said, via press release. Watch the video for HITstory cut ‘Old School Caddy’, featuring KiD CuDi, below.
