Miami’s EDM takeover is the latest festival to cash-in on multiple weekends.

Following the lead of Coachella’s profitable expansion, the Ultra Music Festival will take place in Miami’s Bayfront Park for two weekends next March.

UMF will run on consecutive weekends: March 15-17 and March 22-24. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, October 17, on the festival’s website. The line-up has not yet been announced.

Ultra is the centerpiece of Miami Music Week and bookends the Winter Music Conference. Last year’s festival was most notable for Madonna joining Avicii on-stage to make thinly-veiled drug references, drawing the ire of Deadmau5 and Paul Van Dyk, among others. [via Billboard]
