Troubled soul legend Bobby Womack may have teamed up with XL’s Richard Russell and Damon Albarn for his latest album, The Bravest Man in the Universe, but the biggest surprise on the record came in the form of all-American sweetheart Lana Del Rey, who contributed vocals to ‘Dayglo Reflection’. 

Fans of Lana and Womack rejoice / Lana detractors recoil then, as it might not be the last time they work together. In an interview with The Sun, fresh from winning a Q Award for best album, Womack openly pitched the idea of Del Rey and him making an entire album together.

“I would love to do a whole album with Lana”, Womack explained. “Maybe I will get that chance, I’m putting it out there now.”
