The Hyperdub secret weapon remixes the Australian up-and-comer’s debut single.

Elizabeth Rose is an electronic-pop artist that has been compared to Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Her debut single, ‘Ready’, is a patchwork of multilayered samples, upfront club rhythms, and star-gazing synths, all in service of Rose’s infectious pop vocals.

Hyperdub’s Morgan Zarate offers an intense remix of the song that focuses on the original’s dark shadows, imbuing the song with robust bass that strengthens the strong without detracting from it.

‘Ready’ backs Roses’ ‘Again’, a collaboration with Grizzly boss Sinden. “I first met Elizabeth on a DJ tour of Australia in 2011,” Sinden recalls. “Sydney provided a couple of days of downtime and, never one to slouch, I made some enquiries into new local vocalists to work with. I was introduced to Elizabeth and we hit it off in the studio straight away. She’s a really incredible talent as a singer songwriter and producer, I’m really excited that I can finally share these tracks.”
