The Das Racist member releases his second mixtape of the year, Wild Water Kingdom.

As part of Das Racist, Heems has released some of the most divisive hip-hop in recent years: even if you dismiss the group as a hipsterish, post-modern commentary on hip-hop, Das Racist’s snarky rap is also highly technical and imaginative.

Heems follows-up his Nehru Jackets mixtape (which featured buzzy compatriots Danny Brown, Mr Muthafuckin’ eXquire, and Action Bronson) with Wild Water Kingdom. The feature list isn’t as rich this time around (Childish Gambino is the highlight), but the beats are produced by Lil B-associate Keyboard Kid, rising cloud rap beatsmith Harry Fraud, underground superstar Le1F, and (why not?) Crookers.
