Jamie Lidell announces world tour

The Warp soulman will tour in support of his forthcoming album.

In 2013, Lidell will play ten gigs throughout Europe before heading over to North America for a dozen dates in the US and Canada.

Earlier this month, Lidell announced a self-titled effort for Warp due out February 18. The label promises an album that “represents a distillation of Jamie Lidell’s sonic foundations, with the collaborations of 2010’s Compass replaced with an approach that is pure and wholly Lidell – eleven tracks further proving his ability to upend expectations of the ways man and machine can make music together.”

The dates are below, via CoS, and you can stream the album’s first cut, the uneasy electro-pop of ‘What A Shame’, as well.
