Kode9, Ms. Haptic and MFO take Her Ghost to London

Hyperdub boss Kode9, Ms. Haptic and the MFO collective will take Her Ghost, their interpretation of Chris Marker’s 1962 film La Jetée, to London.

Described in Ryan A. Diduck’s recent piece for FACT as “something between a tribute, a remake, and a singular, standalone piece”, the piece was premiered at Unsound 2011, and presented again at this year’s Mutek festival in Montréal. The London performance is presented by Black Atlantic, and marks the first in a series of audio-visual performances hosted by the promoters, “exploring the relationship between contemporary electronic music” under the banner BA/AV.

For more on Her Ghost, read Diduck’s full interview with Kode9, Haptic and MFO here. The performance takes place at the BFI Southbank on Friday December 7. Tickets are available here.
