RZA begins production on a new Wu-Tang album

According to the fan-run Wu-Tang Twitter account, the Wu-Tang mastermind has started production on an album that would mark the 20th anniversary of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

“There’s one last job Wu-Tang Clan must do. The 20th anniversary is next year. And we need to, one time, completely, efficiently, properly, professionally represent our brand. One more time,” he told The New York Times earlier this year. Ghostface Killah later added fuel to that fire.

Apart from his varied musical projects, the The Man With The Iron Fists director has signed on to direct a biopic of Genghis Khan, the action thriller No Man’s Land, and an adaptation of Grant Morrison’s Happy!.
