Long-running shindig Southport Weekender returns next year with an assortment of major names.

The Southport spectacular features a long line-up of vintage dance heavyweights. The top pick is a live appearance from Mala, showcasing his Mala In Cuba project on the Beat Bar stage. He’ll also be sharing a stage with Detroit house luminary Andres, whose ‘New For U’ has proven one of the year’s more enduring anthems, and house veteran Move D will be appearing on the same platform. Ron Trent, DJ Lefto, Gilles Peterson and Benji B will also share the stage.

Elsewhere, Francois K, Joaquin Claussell and Danny Krivit will team up for a joint performance. The Powerhouse stage will welcome DJ Sneak, Kerri Chandler, Prosumer and Miguel Campbell, and the Funkbase Stage will play host to the likes of EZ, David Rodigan and Goldie. Dimitri From Paris, Trevor Nelson and Lee Foss are among the other acts on the bill.
