The Upfront Project series continues with club night Obscure’s first birthday. 

Previous acts to head to Vauxhall’s Lightbox under the Obscure banner in the last year include DJ EZ, El-B, Jam City and Lil Silva. The birthday bash, which takes place on Friday December 21, hits a similar calibre of artist. UK garage veteran Sticky will be showing off his well-honed talents, and Hyperdub’s Scratcha DVA will be blazing a trail into the outer limits of UK funky and grime. The inimitable Slimzee, once of PAUG, enjoys elder statesman status, and can be expected to the offer a spirited b2b set with Wonder, and Double 99 – aka Omar Adimora and Tim Deluxe – will continue their reunion jaunt.
