Raekwon names new album, promises mid-2013 release date

Hip-hop’s pre-eminent Chef – no, not you, Action Bronson – has announced further details of the follow-up to 2011′s Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang.

As Exclaim report, Raekwon has announced via Twitter that his next LP will be called F.I.L.A, and will arrive in the second quarter of 2013. Which stands for ‘FLY. INTERNATIONAL. LUXURIOUS. ART’, apparently. The NY rapper also promises plenty of ’2013 FLY SHIT’ on the record, which sounds just peachy to us.

As reported, Raekwon is set to tease the album with a new free EP, Lost Jewelry. The EP will drop on January 8, complete with some Jack Sparrow-friendly cover art (see below). Somnolent lead track ‘Neither One Of Us’ is below.
