What with Italy’s Vertigo festival, it seems the snowy European festivals keep on coming.

Horizon is a brand new festival located in the Pirin mountains in Southern Bulgaria, and arrives from the same minds behind Croatia’s successful Dimensions and Outlook festivals. Running from March 23-29, the shindig promises an unusually picturesque location: revellers can apparently “ski between mountain raves from noon until dusk”, with events also scheduled through the night at a range of clubs in the Bansko area.

Already confirmed is Numbers boss and certified party starter Jackmaster. He’ll be joined by enigmatic bass project Route 94, and well-practised low-end explorers Dark Sky. Also on the cards? Ben Pearce, Casino Times, Maribou State, Alex Arnout, Klosse One and Phaeleh, with more to come.
