The Born To Die vocalist reneges on previous claims that she was done with music.

Last February, Lana Del Rey told <emVogue that there was a good chance she wouldn’t release a second album. “I don’t think I’ll write another record”, she said at the time. “What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I’ve said already.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the divisive 26-year-old singer has gone back on that claim, entering a Santa Monica studio to work on her next album. The Daily Mail (via NME) shared some photos from the sessions that include LDR and her creative team.

One person in the photo below appears to be Rick Nowels, a collaborator who worked on Born To Die and the subsequent Paradise edition of the album, co-writing and producing ‘Dark Paradise’, ‘Summertime Sadness’, ‘Lucky Ones’, ‘American’, ‘Cola’, and ‘Body Electric’. To the dismay of about half our readership, Born To Die was one of our favorite albums of 2012.
