The Postal Service announce tour dates

The recently-reunited millenial favorites plan a dozen concerts.

Confirming what was reported last month, The Postal Service have announced a slate of reunion shows, their first such gigs since their lone tour back in 2003. The tour includes stops at Coachella and Primavera Sound, along with a handful of dates in North America, England, and France. Pre-sale information is available now.

The band will be touring in support of the tenth anniversary edition of Give Up, which will be re-issued by Sub Pop on April 8 in the UK and April 9 in the U.S. The new edition includes a bonus disc that is loaded with rarities, remixes, covers, and two new originals.

The Postal Service touring band will include the duo of Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello along with Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Georgie James) and Jenny Lewis. The ex-Rilo Kiley frontwoman appeared on Give Up and toured with the band on their last go around. [via Pitchfork]
