The-Dream changes new album title to its most outrageous yet; confirms involvement in new Kanye West solo LP

At this point, the new album by The-Dream has undergone more title and release date changes than Matthew Herbert’s got Discogs entries, and the changes keep coming.

In a catch-up with Billboard, the r’n’b super-producer – fresh from celebrating a Grammy win for his work on Jay-Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean’s ‘No Church in the Wild’, as well as a dig from Hova about his hat – claimed that the latest release date for Love IV is May 7. Oh, and it’s no longer titled Love IV – it’s called Fourplay. If you’re not keen on that title don’t worry, it’ll have changed soon, but probably not before the latest single from it drops. That’s titled ‘Slow it Down’, and due Thursday. Subject to change.

In other Dream news, he’s confirmed his involvement in Kanye West’s next album, the eagerly-awaited follow-up to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Read the full article here, and stream Dream’s Grammys hat episode below.
