Stream the first fruits of Janine Rostron’s latest.

The Knife aren’t the only act releasing gender-bending bizarro-pop in 2013: Rostron, aka artist/musician Planningtorock, will issue a new EP of feminist dance fare on March 8 – which also happens to be International Women’s Day – on her own Human Level imprint. Lead track ‘Misxgyny Drxp Dead’ is a striking bit of amphibian electro-pop with a cavalier attitude to quantisation and some thrilling processed vocals. The video, meanwhile, is a peach – an FMV fever dream with touches of Blade Runner and Jeff Koons.
