Next month, Mykki Blanco will follow-up last year’s Cosmic Angel mixtape with the Betty Rubble: The Initiation EP. The first leak from the EP finds Blanco further down the rap rabbit hole, dropping razor-edged barbs (“Who’s got the Summer’s Eve / I’m about to douche these bitches / make you a punchline in my joke / Lenny Bruce you, nigga”) over a sparse beat by San Francisco producer Matrixxman.

Matrixxman, who previously contributed to Blanco’s ‘Haze.Boogie.Life’, crafts an even leaner beat this time around, tweaking the DJ Mustard snap rap formula into something more personal. Stream ‘Feeling Special’ over on Blanco’s Tumblr.
