King Louie’s ambitious #Marchmadness (in which the Chicago rapper drops a track each day through the month of March) presses on with this uncharacteristically smooth collaboration with DJ Victorious.

Produced by fellow Windy City son Chase Davis, King Louie again flexes his vocal muscles on ‘She On Me’, but in contrast to his previous auto-tune sing-alongs the abrasive drill beats are almost totally absent. Rather, Davis’s production allows Louie to really explore his sensitive side with an almost Future-like hook that has us on the repeat button again and again. We’re only a few tracks in admittedly, but #Marchmadness is showing a surprisingly wide range from King Louie – who’d have thought?
