The Illuminati Prince/ss of New York hip-hop embarks on a headlining tour.

Mykki Blanco kicks off “The Initiation” tonight in Los Angeles. The tour will take Mykki through the end of April, with a handful of European festival gigs scheduled for the summer. Expect to see the rapper at SXSW, as well.

Blanco will follow-up last year’s Cosmic Angel mixtape with the Betty Rubble: The Initiation EP later this month, with production by A-Trak, Sinden, and Supreme Cuts, among others. Until then, sample the EP with the Matrixxman-produced ‘Feeling Special’.
