Canadian producers Adam Marshall and XI have joined forces to form Graze, and ‘TheSust’ is the first taster of upcoming EP, Graze.

The rolling bass, house stabs and cavernous percussion shouldn’t be too surprising knowing that both producers just returned to their homeland after a stint in Berlin, but the duo don’t allow the track to slip into a mere genre exercise. Coming across like a more austere take on Addison Groove‘s 808-fetishism or Machinedrum‘s grab-bag of bass music history, this is smart but soundsystem-destroying at the same time, and is an interest-piquing first sniff at the contents of the EP.
