Berlin royalty Ostgut Ton and 50 Weapons are in cahoots for an epic Easter showcase on Thursday March 29.

The main event, hosted at the Peckham Palais, has Berghain imprint Ostgut-Ton represented by man-of-the-moment Function, Barker & Baumecker and Marcel Fengler, while the 50 Weapons camp have armed themselves with Shed, Addison Groove and Benjamin Damage. Detroit techno legend Robert Hood is turning up as a special guest, which should seal the deal for anyone who was on the fence about whether the already bumper lineup was quite worth the trip out.

Keeping it truly Berlin, an after party at the MS Stubnitz starts at a bracing 6am and keeps the dream alive until midday, so those of us with jobs can sidle over before work, catch an hour or so and then rock onto the shop floor looking grizzled.

Holding it down for Berghain is resident Marcel Fengler, who should be used to those kind of hours by now, and spinning for the 50 Weapons team is newcomer Dark Sky. Local chap and Electric Minds founder rounds up the lineup, which promises to show us why Deutschland keeps on taking it when it comes to techno.

The floating venue is currently moored at London’s Canary Warf – if you have trouble find it, we suggest you look for the big boat with the long line outside it.
