Turkey’s SunSplash festival has revealed a clutch of new additions. 

Dub supremo Mad Professor is the biggest of the new additions. His name still looms large amongst UK dub producers, and he’s had his hand in major releases from Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Johnny Clarke and Horace Andy – plus, of course, that infamous end-to-end rework of Massive Attack’s Protection. He’ll be joined by the ebullient Simbad, an inveterate globetrotter with collaborations with Zed Bias and Karizma under his belt. Inner Rhythm resident Stuart Patterson, Kyoto Jazz Massive’s Shuya Okino, Tim Keenoy and DJ Cliffy round out the bill.

They join the likes of Norman Jay MBE, Gilles Peterson, Kirk Degiorgio and Phil Asher. SunSplash runs from June 2-9 at an “unrivalled beach side setting” by the five star Hillside Su Hotel in Antalya, Turkey.
