Tri Angle’s golden – well, onyx – boy Evian Christ has dialled in a new mix for Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show. 

The young Merseyside producer made a major splash with last year’s Kings And Them, a stylish collection of repurposed rap and ambient electronica. His mini-mix tilts between ambient drift (WANDA GROUP), drill (Chief Keef, Sasha Go Hard) and chart-ready hip-hop (Juelz Santana, Waka Flocka Flame). The biggest draw is a coruscating new track, which offers a gothic reading of Polow Da Don’s super-sleek hip-hop.
