The xx’s percussionist / producer takes to the decks for the Friday Mix.

During the band’s time in Australia, Jamie Smith donned his DJ cap for a half-hour mix on Triple J radio. After dropping Astral Sounds’ ‘Galaxia’, Jamie sticks to remixes of his band, including efforts from Pearson Sound and Hivern Discs’ producer New Jackson.

The mix comes on the heels of a back-to-back set with John Talabot and an interview with FACT that touched on his plans for a new EP, African music, collaborating with big name pop artists and the xx-curated Night + Day festival.
