Land of Kings Festival adds Skream, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and more

Dalston’s Land of Kings festival has announced its latest line-up additions for its 2013 edition.

Most interesting in our eyes is Bugged Out’s 10 x 10 showcase, which sees 10 DJs play their 10 favourite dance records. Already confirmed for that are dubstep icon Skream, UNKLE’s James Lavelle and Riton, so expect at least one play of ‘Blue Monday’. Elsewhere, the flamboyant Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs [above] will take time out of his tour schedule to DJ, Ninja Tune’s Raffertie touches down for a set, and Tayo’s jungle-leaning Wicked Wicked party will be headlined by the legendary Shut Up & Dance.

They join a multi-venue line-up that already features Chrome Hoof, Dark Sky, Friendly Fires, Circle Traps, label showcases from Public Information and Petit Records and mores. It’s not all live music though: the festival also features its own record fair, Vortex Vinyl Vernacular, and Musical Bingo (however that works). Land of Kings takes place on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 5; for more information and tickets go here.
