The US noise legends dial it back from 11.

Pulled from the Wolf Eyes’ recent De Stijl LP No Answer-Lower Floors, ‘Choking Flys’ is a drawn, distant growler of a track, sounding something like a 1982 hardcore demo on the wrong speed. It’s effortlessly ominous stuff, and a far cry from the band’s more ear-blistering material, harking back to 2009’s moody Hospital Productions-released Always Wrong. Alivia Zilvich’s visual accompaniment shows the band in high spirits and peering into unseen world of the US noise circuit with endless driving, junk food, cheap booze and snow. [via Ad Hoc]
