FACT and Wales’ Gottwood festival have teamed up to bring you an absolute beast of a competition.

Gottwood will return to the woods of Carreglwyd for its fourth edition this Summer, taking place from June 20-23. Some of the cream of the electronic music crop – Ben UFO, Luke Vibert, Tom Demac, Move D, Bicep and more – are on board, and tickets are available now from the festival’s website. Alternatively, if you fancy your luck you could take home not just a pair of weekend tickets to Gottwood but six hours’ DJing or production tuition courtesy of the fine folk at the award-winning SSR (School of Sound Recording), in either London or Manchester.

On top of that, you’ll win a stack of vinyl from some of the labels and acts playing Gottwood (Futureboogie, Wolf Music and Nixwax), a copy of Morris Cowan’s new album Six Degrees, a Tief tote bag and a Gottwood t-shirt. To enter, simply drop us a line on competitions@thevinylfactory.com with the subject line ‘Gottwood’. ‘Gott Wood?’, naturally, will suffice.

Some information on SSR: the first audio engineering school in the UK, it provides courses and training in audio engineering, music production and creative media. Now an international institution with over 30 years of industry and teaching experience, SSR produces graduates around the world for the music, television, film, radio and games industries.
