Cee Lo Green to document Goodie Mob reunion in reality series

The multi-talented musician / The Voice judge will star in a new series.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Turner cable network TBS has ordered six-episodes of an unscripted series tentatively titled The Cee Lo Life. The show is expected to premiere next year.

The series will follow Green as he “tackles a packed schedule of producing, recording and performing,” but will also focus on Goodie Mob’s return to the stage as the Atlanta rap legends prepare to release a new album this summer.

“This new TBS series will give viewers the chance to get to know Cee Lo Green, who is without a doubt one of the hardest working men in show business. The Cee Lo Life is certain to be a smart, fun and funny journey packed with a lot of great music,” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and TCM.

Goodie Mob’s Age Against The Machine is due on June 18, and according to Cee Lo, the album will sound like “Public Enemy on acid.”
