Dust off the old joanna – René Pawlowitz’ piano house project is back.

Best known for his work as Shed, Pawlowitz has been sporadically indulging his inner DJ Duke fan since 2010, when he debuted the Head High project with the anonymous ‘It’s A Love Thing (Piano Invasion)’ on cottage label Power House. Cover blown, he followed up with a remix of Joy O’s ‘Ellipsis’, and, almost exactly a year ago, dropped the storming ‘Do It Yourself’/’Rave’ – arguably Pawlowitz’ most exuberantly old-school release to date.

As XLR8R report, Pawlowitz has just reactivated Head High with new 12″ Burning. The release features two versions of the title track, plus supplementary cut ‘Keep On Talking’, and is out now on Power House; click below to hear the jubilant closing track.
