The Boards Of Canada Record Store Day 12" is back on sale

2013’s most coveted 12″ is back on the market.

Last month, the out-of-the-blue Boards of Canada 12 located in NY’s Other Music that inaugurated the whole Boards of Canada Tomorrow’s Harvest hoo-ha popped up on eBay. The disc, hawked by Reddit user lilcakey, eventually went for $5,700 on the auction site. End of story? Not quite.

As Pitchfork report, the 12″ is now back on sale following some apparent bother with “non-paying bidders”. This time around, the disc has a Buy It Now price of $5,700, meaning that particularly flush readers can cop it this very moment, although lilcakey is also accepting conventional bids too. The blurb accompanying the listing reads as follows:

this record was up for auction last week, but due to non-paying bidders, i am using a “buy it now” listing w/ a best offer option.  the buy it now price is set at the final auction price.  the actual vinyl is flawless as is the sleeve aside from one tiny dent on one of the corners (as pictured).  i imagine you could “iron out” the dent, but i will leave that up to you, as i am afraid to touch it!  the record is in the exact condition it was found in.

Tomorrow’s Harvest is due out June 10 on Warp. If you somehow missed the most intricate marketing campaign of the year, head here to refresh your memory (or, alternatively, witness a fan and a detractor go Head-To-Head about the whole affair).
