Last we heard from Mr. Rose, he was going deep with December’s ‘Hardbody’ single. New track ‘August’ sees Scuba continuing in Personality mode, making effulgent house for big rooms. That said, ‘August’ marks a sideways step from ‘Talk Torque’/’Hardbody’, swapping scrubbed-up jack for glossy electro, 909 percussion palette and all. As per its title, ‘August’ should do well this summer, blessed as it is with an infectious hook straight out of the Joy O playbook.

No release date for the track as yet. Back in March, Scuba furnished Stateside fans with a new Hotflush compilation. Update.
