A tale of life and love in LA, starring Lil’ Cam’ron.

As a tongue-in-cheek disclaimer makes clear, this isn’t Para One’s life: this is the director’s fantasy. Starring Brendon Sexton III as Para One, Penny Rabbit as The Girl, and a Cam’ron doll as Cam’ron, the video charts a blooming Los Angeles romance (complete with Say Anything reference). The Cam’ron figurine is “Para One”‘s spirit animal, in a bit that is reminiscent of Lil’ Penny from those classic 90s Nike commercials.

The inaugural FACT Singles Club tackled the unlikely remix, and FACT spoke with Para One about how the remix came about, the state of dance music and his plans for 2013.
