Gucci Mane announces first Brick Squad album, featuring Waka Flocka, Chief Keef, and more

Squad up: Gucci and friends get in the posse album game.

The Atlanta rapper has announced the album, Big Money Talk, via Twitter. It will feature the trap god along with members of the 1017 Brick Squad roster: rap vet OJ Da Juiceman, recently-signed Chief Keef, and newcomers Young Scooter, PeeWee Longway, and Young Thug.

Interestingly, Gucci also shouts out estranged-protege Waka Flocka; either they’ve reconciled or some material was recorded before their falling out. Earlier this year, Gucci released Free Bricks 2 with Young Scooter, Money, Pounds, Ammunition with PeeWee Longway, and EastAtlantaMemphis with Young Dolph (who isn’t included in Gucci’s tweet, for what it’s worth).

No word on a tracklist or release date. In 2011, Gucci presented the Bricksquad Mafia mixtape; this would be the Squad’s first proper album. Last month, Gucci released Trap House III.
