Drum'n'bass torchbearer dBridge shifts to R&S for new EP Move Away

An interesting move this: the latest EP by drum’n’bass torchbearer dBridge will be released on R&S.

Titled Move Away, it’s a new three-track effort from part of the team behind legendary d’n’b unit Bad Company and a key piece of the Autonomic puzzle, featuring Skeptical on its title track [below]. Autonomic was a d’n’b sub-genre of sorts pushed by dBridge and Instra:mental over a series of releases, podcasts and a contribution to Fabric’s mix CD series – though in truth, it was more to do with approach than a specific sound – that for many has revitalised the genre in the last few years.

Whether this marks a one-off or the start of a series of collaborations between dBridge and R&S we’re unsure – we’ve contacted the label for comment – but fans will be able to buy it on August 12 [via Resident Advisor].

Earlier this year, FACT’s Joe Muggs conducted an in-depth interview with dBridge, centered around Bad Company’s 2013 reunion but touching on pretty much everything else possible – you can read that here.

Tracklist:
A1 dBridge & Skeptical – Move Away
B1 Death Of A Drum Machine
