Yeezus debuts at number one on Billboard 200

Kanye West notches his sixth straight no. 1 album — without any singles or traditional promotion.

Billboard reports that Yeezus sold 327,000 in its first week — the biggest week for a rap album since Drake’s Take Care in 2011.

However, Yeezus is also Kanye’s lowest debut, failing to break 400,000; previously, The College Dropout earned that distinction with 441,000 first week sales.

Earlier this week, Kanye secured his first UK number one since 2007’s Graduation. You can read FACT’s review of the hotly-debated album here.
