Hampshire-born, Berlin-based producer Seams will follow up a string of neat EPs with a full-length in September.

Recorded across four locations in Berlin, the eight-track Quarters looks set to be Jami Welch’s psychogeographical memoir of the city, reminiscent of like-minded producer Gold Panda’s recent travelogue album, Half Of Where You Live, which featured odes to Hong Kong, Japan and the small Yorkshire village of Flinton.

The record follows the release of a couple of EPs on Pictures Music, including Tourist, which impressed FACT’s Andrew Ryce in 2010. Last year Seams also released a double EP on Full Time Hobby, Tourist/Sleeper, which bundled that EP with a selection of more recent material.

Quarters will appear via Full Time Hobby on 16 September.
