Stepping into shoes last worn by Plastician, Kent producer J:Kenzo will release the latest in Tempa’s old-as-the-hills Dubstep Allstars series.

With last year’s self-titled debut LP for Tempa, J:Kenzo cemented his place as one of the smartest practitioners of lithe, no-frills dubstep in the game. Dubstep Allstars Vol. 11 will offer a survey of music from some familiar scene figureheads – including Icicle, Amit, SP:MC and Krypric Minds – plus an assortment of relative rookies to boot.

J:Kenzo promises a survey of “a new wave of producers coming through that are really making more progressive music.” The album will serve as J:Kenzo’s first commercially available mix; a clutch of original productions have also made the cut.

Dubstep Allstars Vol. 11 will drop on July 29 on Tempa. J:Kenzo also has a new EP, Bloodlinesin the works; head here to listen to the skeletal title track. For more on J:Kenzo, check out our 2012 interview with the producer.
