The Hydra’s 2013 was already looking massive, and every new detail is making us more eager to make sure we don’t miss a single one of the sprawling nights.

We already mentioned the wealth of label nights, and now the line-ups themselves have been revealed, and are typically expansive. On August 24, Blueprint and Underground Resistance will be bringing Timeline, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, James Ruskin and Regis to Brixton’s Electric, on the 25th the Running Back imprint will present mysterious disco duo Tiger & Woods who will be performing a rare live set, and will be joined by Gerd Janson and John Talabot at the Village Underground.

September 27 will see Fire play host to Detroit legends 3 Chairs, a supergroup made up of Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman, Moodymann and Rick Wilhite along with support from the Eglo and Nonplus imprints, who will be bringing Alexander Nut, Funkineven, Bodikka, Velvit, Endian and Dego.

On October 5 at the Studio Spaces, Electric Minds will be hosting a birthday celebration, with Move D, Kassem Mosse, Prosumer, Fred P, Recondite and Dolan Bergin. It’s not the only birthday The Hydra is supporting, as on October 11 legendary label R&S celebrates its 30th birthday with Derrick May, Space Dimension Controller, dBridge, Synkro, Alex Smoke and Paula Temple, then on October 25, Kompakt drop into Fire for their 20th anniversary celebration, with Michael Mayer, Robag Whrume, Pachanga Boys, Kolsch, Sascha Funke, Terranova, Sachienne, Blond Ish and Walls.

Rounding out the October line-up on the 26th at the Village Underground is a Turbo Halloween special, featuring appearances from Tiga, Clouds, Sei A and Untold, then on Nov 2nd at Autumn Street Studios, Bloc have put together a line-up matching up Manchester’s Modern Love with Montreal’s Mutek, and we get to reap the rewards with sets from Andy Stott, Demdike Stare and Deadbeat.

On November 9th at the Studio Spaces, the mysterious FMB will be presenting Trevino, Genius of Time and an unannounced special guest, then at the same venue on November 15, Deep Space will present Francois K and Cosmo. Later that month on the 16th, Blawan and Pariah team up for a special performance under the Karenn moniker and will be joined by Midland and Sunil Sharpe, again at the Studio Spaces.

November 22 will find the Dial label taking over the Studio Spaces with Roman Flügel, Lawrence and John Roberts, and a day later at the same venue, James Holden‘s Border Community imprint will do the same with Luke Abbott, Daphni and of course Holden himself. The November run ends on the 30th, with a truly massive line-up from London’s very own Hyperdub imprint, which finds label boss Kode9 accompanied by Ikonika, King Britt (under the Fhloston Paradigm moniker) and new signing Jessy Lanza at XOYO.

Maybe the biggest line-up of them all is on December 6, where Ninja Tune will be celebrating 25 years of Solid Steel with Trevor Jackson, Coldcut & The Orb, Actress, Hexstatic, Illum Sphere, PC, DK, DJ Food & DJ Cheeba & DJ Moneyshot and James Mountain, with a number of special guests as yet unannounced.

The final date is The Hydra’s New Year’s Day bash at Fire, with Move D, Mano Le Tough, Glimpse, Endian, Dolan Bergin and Fold, plus plenty more names that are due to emerge over the next few months.
