Hessle Audio's Ben UFO to play seven hour set for Make Me in London

Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO will play all night in London this October 12.

Launched in Leeds in 2007, Hessle Audio quickly became known as one of dubstep’s most reliable labels, but it’s since outgrown the D-word, releasing music that’s more aligned with house and techno. As the non-producer of the three founders (Pangaea and Pearson Sound, formerly Ramadanman, make up the other two), Ben UFO’s probably had to work hardest to build his reputation as a DJ, but he’s become known as one of the world’s best selectors, with a Fabric mix CD and more under his belt.

This night, presented by Make Me at Hackney Wick’s Autumn Street Studios, won’t be the first time Ben’s gone all night in London, but it is – to our knowledge – the first time he’s had the opportunity to do so for seven hours with a 6am license. Expect surprises from every corner of his record collection; and expect demand to be high – ticket details will be announced to Make Me’s mailing list and Facebook group on Monday August 12.
