The annual Roundhouse jamboree expands again.

The latest batch of names to be added to next month’s iTunes Festival in London includes a couple of absolute corkers, and they’re playing on the same night and everything. Disco legend, Daft Punk collaborator, cancer survivor and all-round good egg Nile Rodgers will bring Chic to the Roundhouse on 14 September, with support from flamboyant retro-futurist Janelle Monae.

Other names added to the month-long gig series include Auto-Tuned oddballs Poliça, who support Sigur Rós on 2 September, plus indie rockers Palma Violets, garage-punk duo Drenge, British rapper Tinie Tempah and, in perhaps the strangest pairing, emo originals Jimmy Eat World supporting Kings Of Leon. The festival runs all through September and all shows are free for competition winners only – apply for tickets here.
