The gloomy rap prodigy finds a like-minded collaborator in Matthew Barnes.

Seventeen-year-old Barbadian rapper Haleek Maul debuted last summer with Oxyconteen and Chrome Lips. ‘Lobo’ follows the ghastly template of those efforts, as Maul’s venom-soaked and death-obsessed lyrics melt with Forest Swords’ rumbling, funereal beat.

Stream ‘Lobo’ below. No word on whether this will see official release, but Forest Swords will release his second album, Engravings, via Tri Angle on August 26.
