Pelican Fly-affiliated producer Sinjin Hawke has remixed ghetto-house legend DJ Funk‘s ‘Three Fine Hoes’.

There’s sometimes a worry when younger producers get a hold of tracks with this amount of sex, sweat and grit that they’ll strip (or, more accurately, pitch-shift) the life out of them, but this isn’t the case here – Sinjin kills it, with fiery pirate horns, sweet r’n’b vocals in the backdrop and more. It’s a pretty special re-tooling, and it’ll be released through Booty Call Records on September 16 with more Funk re-versions from Ken Ishii and Nadus.
