Fresh from the news of their first new record since 1991, indie vanguards the Pixies have announced a London show at Brixton Electric on September 27.

The band had already announced London shows at the iTunes Festival (Roundhouse, September 25) and Hammersmith Apollo (November 24 & 25), while there are also UK dates due for Manchester (Apollo, 21) and Glasgow (Barrowland, 22) as well as a Dublin show (Olympia, Nov 18).
