Vauxhall hotspot Fire has proven its worth in London’s rapidly changing club landscape in the last year, and from the looks of the rest of their 2013 schedule it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down any time soon.
Fire: In Session is back for the Autumn/Winter period, and the club has invited a host of on-it musical guests from labels and clubnights to some of the world’s hottest DJs and live artists. The Hydra’s massive Detroit love-in on September 27 is an instant highlight, bringing together 3 Chairs (Moodyman, Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittmann) and the Non Plus and Eglo Crews of Boddika, Velvit, Endian, Funkineven, Dego and Alexander Nut.
Elsewhere, on October 19 the Madtech imprint are poised to take the reigns, with a sizzling line-up featuring Walter Ego, Applebottom, AZ & Tor and Golden Boy. If you’re looking for tougher junglist sounds then November 8th’s A Bunch Of Cuts event might be more to your liking, with Calibre, D Bridge, Doc Scott, Klute, Marcus Intalex and more manning the decks.
Jersey’s King of the club Todd Edwards drops in on December 7 for Kitsune’s takeover, and will be joined by Krystal Klear, Two Door Cinema Club, Gigamesh and more, while on December 20 reggae legend David Rodigan brings RamJam to Fire with Shy FX, dBridge (dropping a rare jungle set), Congo Natty and loads more.
